Sue Firth

I am a Business Psychologist, International speaker, an expert in Stress and I specialise in fixing problems within business.

The closest thing to what I do is as a Non-Exec for people.

Every business has issues; these issues occur all the time and often seem manageable until a business goes through a time of change such as a merger, separation or acquisition.

At times, top Executives don’t work well together or teams aren’t achieving – these are some examples of the problems businesses experience, and high achieving, ambitious Managing Directors don’t have the time, or sometimes the knowledge, to manage these.

I act as a consultant, advising and offering positive action plans to business/individuals needing direction, guidance, advice and tools. It’s finding the right tools that matter and when you do, it’s the use of those tools that gets them to better manage change.

I work with a proven, stress management, psychological process, tailoring it to suit your needs.

My style is positive, engaging, motivating and down-to-earth. I aim to help business people become more productive, purposeful, successful and profitable, maximising their potential.

I combine strong corporate experience with high levels of psychological insight, and my objective is to use that understanding of people to your business advantage.

Situations I have supported include:

* Businesses that have merged

* Two businesses owned by members of the same family but who wanted to separate to achieve their own individual potential

* Top teams who weren’t transparent enough with each other so they took feedback as criticism

* Teams that carried poor performers because it was too uncomfortable to sort the issue

* I’ve helped people who were promoted and they’re not doing the job the way they hoped they’d do it

* I’ve supported people who aren’t reaching their full potential

* Other individuals who’ve lost their mojo, focus or direction and just can’t seem to work out what to do.
