As a Technical Director at NearForm, I consult for some of the top brands in the world. In 2014, I defended my PhD thesis titled “Application Platforms for the Internet of Things”. I am a member of the Node.js Technical Steering Committee focusing on streams, diagnostics and http and the author of the fast logger Pino and of the Fastify web framework.
I am a seasoned international speaker and have presented at more than 50 conferences worldwide including Node.js Interactive, NodeConf EU, NodeSummit, JSConf.Asia, WebRebels, and JsDay to just name a few. I have also co-authored the “Node.js Cookbook Third Edition” edited by Packt and in the summer I love nothing better than sailing the Sirocco.
