Overview

sem.chat

sem.chat is an AI product we built and still run: chat and voice for any website that install in under 2 minutes with no code, learn the site, and answer any visitor in under 1.8 seconds, in 26 languages, around the clock.

We built it, proved it on the platforms we maintain, then wrapped it in a full SaaS with a programmatic marketing site engineered to win both search engines and AI answer engines.

Delivered by the UNmiss team, led by founder Anatolii Ulitovskyi.

The challenge

Where we started

  • Supporting buyers in dozens of languages, at all hours and through seasonal peaks, was impossible to staff with human operators.
  • Pre-purchase questions went unanswered after hours, and every missed answer was a lost customer.
  • The product needed organic demand of its own, not just word of mouth, to grow into a self-serve SaaS.
The full story

How we built it

A problem we saw on every project we maintain

sem.chat did not start as a product idea. It started as a recurring pain across the platforms we build and maintain: BeCoin fields finance questions in 44 languages, DanEri gets tourists' questions mid-booking, and UNmiss gets SEO questions at every hour. No support rota keeps up, and every missed answer was a customer we had already earned walking away.

Across the projects we maintain, we saw the pattern clearly: the "is this right for me?" question lands about a minute before payment. When no answer is waiting, the visitor leaves to compare competitors and rarely comes back. Off-hours and seasonal peaks, the moments you cannot staff, are exactly when it hurts most.

The product: chat plus voice, answers in under 1.8 seconds

The core is simple to adopt and hard to outgrow. One widget combines chat and voice for any site, installs in under 2 minutes with no code, and learns the site on its own: the pages, the prices, the terms. From there it answers by text or voice in under 1.8 seconds, in 26 languages, 24/7.

Speed is the whole point. The minute before payment is not long enough for a support ticket, but it is long enough for a fast, correct answer. Because the widget already understands the site it lives on, its answers are grounded in the real product, not generic scripts, and it holds that quality in every language it speaks.

We proved it on real sites before we sold it

Before sem.chat was a SaaS anyone could buy, it had to earn its place on the traffic and revenue of the sites we maintain. We deployed it first where the problem started, branded as "Becoin AI," "DanEri AI," and "UNmiss AI," and let it face real visitors asking real questions in real languages.

BeCoin was the hardest test we could set: high-stakes financial questions in 44 languages, now answered directly on the forecast pages with no operators standing by. On DanEri, a visitor asking "is this cruise OK for kids?" a minute before payment gets a clear answer in under two seconds, and the booking goes through. Only after it proved itself on 4 of our own projects did we open it to everyone else.

Lead capture that lifts conversions

Answering questions is only half the job. sem.chat does not just respond and stop: it captures the contact, asks the qualifying questions a good salesperson would, and hands a ready lead straight to the CRM or inbox with the full context, not just a name and an email. The follow-up starts warm instead of cold.

That is the difference between a chat widget and a growth channel. The same traffic a site already pays to acquire converts more often, because the moment of highest intent is finally being answered and captured instead of abandoned.

A programmatic marketing site of 893 pages

A great product with no demand of its own stays a secret. So alongside the SaaS shell, its pricing, docs, API, integrations, and affiliate program, we built a programmatic marketing site engineered to generate its own organic demand, the way we build for clients.

The architecture is intentional: comparison pages catch buyers weighing alternatives, industry pages speak to each vertical's needs, and free tools pull in top-of-funnel traffic. Because the platforms we maintain taught us that language is not optional, the whole site ships with true right-to-left layouts for Arabic, Hebrew, Farsi, and Urdu, not translated strings poured into a left-to-right template.

Built for AI search, not just Google

We did not design these pages only for traditional search. The comparison and FAQ formats we chose are exactly what ChatGPT and Perplexity pull from and cite. A clean "Intercom vs sem.chat" page or a direct FAQ answer is the kind of structured, quotable source that answer engines prefer.

That turns the strategy on its head: instead of hoping an AI mentions us, the pages make the site itself a source of answers. Build once, in the format both search engines and AI answer engines reward, and one marketing site earns visibility in classic results and inside AI answers at the same time.

What we did

The approach

Built the AI widget

Shipped chat and voice in one widget that installs in under two minutes with no code and answers in the visitor's language.

Programmatic comparison pages

Created 16 competitor-comparison pages so buyers researching alternatives find sem.chat at the moment of decision.

Industry solution pages

Published 12 industry-specific landing pages that speak to each vertical's support and conversion needs.

Free tools as traffic

Released free generators and utilities that pull in qualified top-of-funnel traffic and route it to the product.

Proven on real sites, then scaled

Deployed first on the finance, travel and SEO sites we maintain, tuned it on real traffic, then opened it as a SaaS.
