How to optimize content with the UNmiss Content Optimizer

The first two happen instantly and entirely on your machine. Only the third one talks to a server.

Markdown, HTML, or plain text — the format is detected for you. Headings, paragraphs, and images are counted as soon as the text lands.

This drives the placement checks: whether the keyword appears early, how densely it appears, and whether it makes it into a heading.

We read the pages ranking for that keyword right now and pull out the terms they share and how long they run. This takes about 20 seconds.

Most content scores are a black box. These are the exact rules behind every number this tool shows you.

Sentence length and syllables per word, on the standard Flesch scale

Sentences of 21+ words or above 2.0 syllables per word

Whether the keyword appears in the first 100 words

Keyword occurrences as a share of total words

The content score is the sum of eight weighted checks: 300 words (+15), 800 words (+10), 1,500 words (+10), three headings (+15), five paragraphs (+10), one image (+10), keyword density in range (+15), and Flesch 50 or above (+15). Note that an empty draft still scores 15, because Flesch on no text returns a perfect number — which is exactly why nothing is shown until you have written 50 words.
